Sprintkart Speedway 2012 Season!

The 2012 season is getting close with the first race set for May 4th, 2012. We will have a 2012 meeting Tuesday, March 6th, 2012 at 7 P.M. at the Davenport Airport to discuss membership and rule changes. The 2012 schedule is set.

2011 Track Champions

Congratulations to the 2011 track champions! They include: Clone Class champion and 4-time track champion Rick Phillips, Jr. Clone champion Josef Lowe, Jr. Yamaha champion Oden McDonald, and Rookie of the Year and Jr. Briggs champion Hanna McDonald.

Karting has become so popular that you should be able to find a track near you. Most of the major cities in the US have one or more tracks designed especially for racing. This is really the most important element at this stage...finding a track you're comfortable with.

2008 Sprint Kart Speedway Results

The start of the 2008 season kicked off with a good Kart turn out and chilly temps on a windy Friday night. There was a great turn out of spectators who saw some great races.

In the Kid Kart class Alec Smith put on a great show winning like a old pro taking the lead and running up front toward the finish line.

The best race of the night was in the Sportsman class as Leo Carr dogged the front runner Quentin Fischien for 9 laps until the last lap when Carr pulled off a great pass as they came around the last 2 turns and crossed the finish line first. Unfortunately, Carr was disqualified for not making weight.

Bart Johnson started off as he left last year running first in all 3 races in the Adult Animal class.
