2010 Sprint Kart Speedway Results

Friday, July 9, 2010 - "Mid-Season Championship 2010"

Friday night action was plenty. Don Sparky "The Flash" Wachal showed up for his fans and started off by taking the checkers in the 1st heat. He later finished 2nd in the next heat race.

Sparky started dead last in the feature because he doesn't race on a weekly basis, and moved up to finish 3rd as they crossed the finish line.

Don came over to the fans at intermission to sign autographs for his fan club. It was good seeing him out to the track again after a long time away.

The Clone feature was won by defending track champion Rick Phillips followed by Carter Hagan and Wachal.

Another hot race that night was in the Jr Yamaha class. Samatha Davis took the wins in the 2 heats and jumped into the lead in the feature but with only 3 laps to the finish, she spun, giving the win to Zac Blum.
