Sprintkart Speedway 2012 Season!

The 2012 season is getting close with the first race set for May 4th, 2012. We will have a 2012 meeting Tuesday, March 6th, 2012 at 7 P.M. at the Davenport Airport to discuss membership and rule changes. The 2012 schedule is set.

2011 Track Champions

Congratulations to the 2011 track champions! They include: Clone Class champion and 4-time track champion Rick Phillips, Jr. Clone champion Josef Lowe, Jr. Yamaha champion Oden McDonald, and Rookie of the Year and Jr. Briggs champion Hanna McDonald.

Karting has become so popular that you should be able to find a track near you. Most of the major cities in the US have one or more tracks designed especially for racing. This is really the most important element at this stage...finding a track you're comfortable with.

2007 Sprint Kart Speedway Results

We had a great turn out for a cold night. There were 30 karts on hand to do action and the spectator area was packed with fans!

The Jr I Briggs class you could of thrown a blanket over the top 4 in all 3 races of the night. They raced clean, bumper to bumper, with Braydon Doberenor #8 taking the checkered for the feature win. They really mixed it up in the heat races With Logan Ralston # 53 taking the first heat race and Jonathan Brauns #22 winning the 2nd heat.

Action continued in the JR I Yamaha class when Zac Smith #97 slid off the track and coming out of his kart as it slid down the track with no driver and brought out the red flag. He was ok and the race lined up again and Austin Fulton won the feature race.

There was a great turn out getting ready for next week's final and Season Championship to wrap up the season.
