The Clone "Blue Motor" Class

In the Clone "Blue Motor" Class, the only motor allowed is a Blue 6.5 HP which is purchased from Harbor Freight. It must be right out of the box with no modifications other then what is allowed by the Sprint Kart Speedway. Any other motor is allowed in any other class as long as there are at least three in the class. The reason for the Blue Clone Class is to keep the cost of kart racing down. Sprint Kart Speedway Adds a New Class for 2009

We will be adding a new and exciting class to the track this year. The Blue Motor Class will be running for both Juniors and Adults.

The Class will be made up of Blue Motors 6.5 HP sold at Harbor Fright Tools, they will be Box Stock. The class will have rules (see rules) as in the other classes and will be discussed at the first meeting March 3, 2009 at the Davenport Airport Terminal building at 7:00 p.m.

We are talking to several people in the area who are already running this motor and other wanting to get into racing at a low cost. We have also built some karts with this motor and look forward to running them.

This should be a very fun class and we look forward to seeing many racers get into this class. If you have any questions are at the meeting or give Steve a call.

We look forward to the 2009 season and hope to see you all out there again for a great year.
