The 2012 season is getting close with the first race set for May 4th, 2012. We will have a 2012 meeting Tuesday, March 6th, 2012 at 7 P.M. at the Davenport Airport to discuss membership and rule changes. The 2012 schedule is set.
2011 Track Champions
Congratulations to the 2011 track champions! They include: Clone Class champion and 4-time track champion Rick Phillips, Jr. Clone champion Josef Lowe, Jr. Yamaha champion Oden McDonald, and Rookie of the Year and Jr. Briggs champion Hanna McDonald.

Sprint Kart Speedway Adds a New Class for 2009
We will be adding a new and exciting class to the track this year. The Blue Motor Class will be running for both Juniors and Adults.
The Class will be made up of Blue Motors 6.5 HP sold at Harbor Fright Tools, they will be Box Stock. The class will have rules (see rules) as in the other classes and will be discussed at the first meeting March 3, 2009 at the Davenport Airport Terminal building at 7:00 p.m.
We are talking to several people in the area who are already running this motor and other wanting to get into racing at a low cost. We have also built some karts with this motor and look forward to running them.
This should be a very fun class and we look forward to seeing many racers get into this class. If you have any questions are at the meeting or give Steve a call.

Officials say when the suspects realized they'd been discovered, they turned the go-kart back toward the border and abandoned it, along with the marijuana.

The bizarre plot by Mexican drug smugglers was foiled when U.S. border patrol officers spotted the drug-filled go-kart hauling a trailer through the desert in far-west Arizona on Tuesday night. Its driver had abandoned the vehicle, and was nowhere to be found.
